Firstly, decide what to sell on Ebay. If you are starting off, begin by selling an
item you know something about. If you're into model trains, sell something related
to that; if its baby clothing, sell that; if you're into fishing, sell fishing accessories,
and so on.
If you are interested in a particular subject, hobby or sport then it makes sense
that other ebay users will be too.

Do some research before you list on ebay. The most effective way to get the
highest price on ebay is to know your market.
Before you list your item to sell on ebay, perform a quick, title-only search on
ebay for products similar to your own.
Tip #3
Get the basics right. Before you even start making sales, you need to have the
attitude of "treating your eBay customers like you would treat a guest in your
home." Be courteous and understanding. People are more inclined to do
business with you again if they receive a pleasant, helpful response from you. Be
willing to help them when there are problems and don't always try an extract
every last cent from them. Customers are not stupid and will resent being taken
advantage of.

ads. Abbreviations are not usually advisable in ebay listings. There's no limit to
the amount of useful information you can provide, so give as much information
as you can, but keep in mind that your ebay listing is not a place for advertising
hype.

There is an old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words", and it is true. As an

Treat your perspective bidders (customers) as having at least some level of
intelligence and will get you more bids. People want to know what you are selling

When you write your title, don't use all CAPITAL LETTERS. Uppercase and
